Panelmatic, Inc. seeks an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the fabrication department.

This role ensures efficient production, adherence to quality standards, and the development of team members with hands-on metal fabrication leadership. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in manufacturing leadership and experience supervising fabricators, coordinating with project managers, and maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication setting required
• Advanced knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, and machinery required
• Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures (QAPs) required
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills required
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and schematics required

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and mentor a team of fabricators, ensuring compliance with safety standards and production goals
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Assign tasks based on skill sets and project requirements, balancing workload among team members
• Coordinate with project managers and other departments to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or resources to prevent delays
• Oversee the setup and operation of fabricating machines
• Ensure all products meet dimensional and quality requirements as per blueprints and schematics
• Review and approve final inspections before delivery
• Identify and resolve fabrication issues, minimizing downtime and waste
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and team performance
• Report key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity and material usage
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
