Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Manager to oversee daily operations, lead fabrication teams, and ensure high-quality output for custom panels and enclosures.

The role requires hands-on leadership to balance production demands, safety, and continuous improvement across multiple projects. You will partner with Project Management, Engineering, and Quality to meet schedules and customer specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years of metal fabrication experience with strong leadership in manufacturing.
• 3+ years supervisory or management experience in industrial fabrication.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the metal fabrication department and oversee daily operations.
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop fabrication personnel and supervisors.
• Set production priorities based on schedules and resources; monitor performance.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Production, Quality and others.
• Ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the department.
• Manage equipment maintenance, TPM, and process improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and report on production status and issues.
