Job summary
AML3D USA in Stow, OH is seeking a hands-on Shop and Field Service Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of advanced industrial metal 3D printing systems. The role offers a mix of in-shop tasks and travel to customer sites.
You will install and set up machines, perform testing, and provide onsite and remote customer support. A high school diploma with welding/electrical/mechanical/robotics training, 3–5 years of shop or field service experience, and proficiency with CAD
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; trade education preferred in welding, electrical, mechanical or robotics.
- 3-5 years of hands-on shop or field service experience.
- Proficient welding skills required.
- Experience with robotics, automation, or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office; CAD or 3D printing software preferred.
- Must be comfortable with QA documentation and processes.
- Willingness to travel for field service assignments when needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with industrial metal 3D printing equipment.
- Assembly and build equipment based on company and customer needs.
- Install and set up machines at customer locations.
- Perform basic testing to ensure equipment is working properly.
- Provide support to customers both onsite and remotely.
- Help with general shop tasks and daily operations.
