Job summary

GoEngineer is seeking a Metal Field Services Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair metal additive manufacturing equipment at customer sites, focusing on laser powder bed fusion. Travel will be 50–70%, with preferred locations in Utah and Texas (California considered for top candidates).

Qualifications

• Experience with metal additive manufacturing required.
• Laser powder bed fusion experience strongly preferred.
• Field service or OEM experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, and engineering instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% and work at customer sites.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair metal additive manufacturing equipment.
• Travel to customer sites to support installations and service.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and system issues.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment performance.
• Complete service documentation and inventory tracking.
• Manage tools, spare parts, and assets.
• Deliver a professional customer experience.
