Job summary

GoEngineer is seeking a Metal Field Services Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair metal additive manufacturing equipment at customer sites. You will lead installations, preventive maintenance, service activities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure equipment performance.

This hands-on role requires travel 50–70%, reading schematics, and strong customer communication. Preference for experience with laser powder bed fusion and SOLIDWORKS; you will work independently

Qualifications

• Experience with metal additive manufacturing required.
• Experience with laser powder bed fusion strongly preferred.
• Field service or OEM maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read technical docs and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair metal additive manufacturing equipment.
• Travel to customer sites to support installations, preventative maintenance, and service requests.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and system-related issues.
• Support large customer deployments and complex installation projects.
• Collaborate with customers and internal technical teams to resolve issues and ensure equipment performance.
• Complete service documentation, reporting, and inventory tracking.
• Manage company tools, spare parts, and assigned assets.
• Deliver a professional and positive customer experience.
