Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group seeks an experienced System Administrator and Infrastructure Engineer to support MES environments at our US factory site. You will ensure stability, availability, and performance of production systems, including SQL Server databases, storage, and factory IT infrastructure, with on-site 24/7 coverage.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, hands-on system admin skills, and collaboration with MES vendors and factory teams to maintain reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in system administration, infra support, or manufacturing IT.
• Strong MS SQL Server administration skills (backup/recovery, tuning, indexing).
• MES experience and familiarity with C/S architecture is preferred.
• Windows Server and basic Linux admin, Hyper-V virtualization.
• Storage/SAN/NAS experience and disaster recovery knowledge.
• TCP/IP networking fundamentals; strong remediation and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting factory onsite operations; after-hours support capable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MES and manufacturing systems to ensure stable factory operations.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, Hyper-V, SQL Server databases, and related infra.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis.
• Manage SQL Server backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Support storage, SAN/NAS, file servers, and DR solutions.
• Coordinate emergency response for 24/7 factory operations.
• Maintain security, patching, and infrastructure reliability.
• Collaborate with MES vendors, software engineers, and operations teams.
• Develop and improve operating procedures and monitoring processes.
