Job summary

Weekday on behalf of a client is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join a growing Information Systems team within a global manufacturing environment. You will own across infrastructure, systems, virtualization, connectivity, security, hardware, and end-user support.

The ideal candidate will be technically versatile, hands-on, and capable of supporting a broad user base while maintaining high IT standards. This role offers growth toward leadership as the IT function develops.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years progressive IT experience.
• Hands-on systems administration experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.
• Experience with VMware and server virtualization.
• Exposure to networking, switches, backups, connectivity, and IT security.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows-based servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows and Active Directory environments.
• Support VMware and server virtualization platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access, and system configurations.
• Provide responsive technical support to users across the organization.
• Document systems, processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with technology leaders and other IT team members on infrastructure initiatives.
