Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. seeks an IT & MES Support Technician to provide hands-on support for manufacturing operations on the factory floor. The role is onsite, first shift, and suitable for someone starting their IT career who enjoys troubleshooting and working with end users.

You will collaborate with production teams and senior IT staff to resolve issues, test MES configurations, and keep systems running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or IT coursework preferred.
• Foundational Windows knowledge and general IT troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with MES, IT ticketing and Active Directory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support to operators and production teams on MES and factory-floor devices.
• Troubleshoot, configure, repair, and deploy IT hardware on site.
• Diagnose Windows/network issues and escalate complex problems.
• Create, triage, and resolve support tickets with documented steps.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality and IT teams on recurring issues.
• Perform routine IT administration tasks and basic AD duties.
• Conduct preventative checks of critical factory IT equipment to avoid production disruption.
• Support deployment of new hardware/software as production scales.
