Bank of America seeks a Merchant Specialist to advise clients on payments solutions, grow merchant relationships, and manage a proactive sales pipeline across industries. This field-based role requires travel for in-person client meetings and close collaboration with Relationship Managers and Merchant Solutions partners.

You will work across the payments ecosystem, leveraging Clover and Bank of America's platform to tailor solutions, negotiate pricing, prepare proposals, and renew contracts

Formación

• 2+ years of Payments industry experience.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience.
• Expert knowledge of Digital Payments/Receivables, Merchant, or Treasury solutions.
• Proven experience cultivating and strengthening client and business partner relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision toward the achievement of personal and team goals.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.
• Effective planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage consultative sales process and knowledge of various industries to identify clients’ needs.
• Recommend solutions that meet clients’ needs with a focus on more complex opportunities and solutions.
• Achieve sales and revenue goals while balancing operational excellence, risk management, and client experience expectations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to Service Level Agreements.
• Build meaningful relationships and collaborates with internal partners to provide subject matter expertise on merchant payment processing pricing, software, gateways, and security.
• Identify opportunities proactively and develops a pipeline for sales opportunities with internal partners and clients.
• Act as a champion for clients by connecting expertise across the company to help them achieve their goals.
• Establish relationships with associations, centers of influence, and vendor partners and adapts to an ever-changing payment processing environment.
• Independently identify sales opportunities from the bank’s portfolio of clients.

Educación

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
