Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Merchant Sales Leader to guide a team of Merchant Advisors and support staff across a broad geography. The role focuses on acquiring new clients and expanding deep relationships by offering merchant solutions to help businesses prosper.

You will develop training, craft marketing materials, and collaborate with Business Banking to seize opportunities, while coaching the team to execute standardized sales processes.

Qualifications

• Leads and manages a team of Merchant Advisors and sales staff across a diverse geography.
• Drives acquisition of new relationship clients and deepens existing relationships with merchant solutions.
• Contributes to training program development for Merchant Services Sales Advisors.
• Develops marketing material for Merchant Services.
• Collaborates with Business Banking to drive opportunities and revenue.
• Overlooks pre & post call planning to identify opportunities.
• Ensures expertise in navigating Merchant tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Onboards and educates clients; designs and delivers job aids and workshops for end users.
• Manages a targeted book of business across regions.
• Coaches team on Merchant value proposition and client experiences using standard sales and service processes/tools.
• Maintains knowledge of competitive products and services to support the team.
• Fosters a culture of learning, accountability and high performance.
• Sets performance objectives and evaluates managers against them.
• Partners with Sales Leaders, SBA, Servicing and Product Management to deliver value to clients.
