Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and provide direction to a team of Merchant Advisors and sales staff across a diverse geography
• Lead team to acquire new relationship clients and deepen existing relationships by providing merchant solutions
• Contributes to the development of training programs for Merchant Services Sales Advisors
• Contributes to the development of marketing material for Merchant Services
• Collaborates with Business Banking and outside leaders to drive opportunities through the consumer channel
• Team will perform pre & post call planning support for identifying opportunities
• Ensure an expert team responsible for navigating Merchant tools and systems
• Lead the Merchant onboarding and education process for clients; contributes on design and delivery of job aids and workshops for end users
• Team will proactively work a targeted book of business for assigned regions
• Coaches to the Merchant value proposition and defined client experiences using consistent sales and service processes/tools
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of competitive products and services to support awareness of the team
• Fosters an environment for learning/best practice sharing and accountability; drives performance and sustained success of the team
• Creates and sustains a dynamic culture of quality through performance management, compensation and reward/recognition programs
• Motivate and empower team members in the successful performance of their responsibilities while encouraging innovation and creating change agents
• Establishes high standards for work quality and provides opportunities for career growth to develop and retain a highly trained staff
• Establishes and tracks performance objectives for the team; manages and evaluates managers performance to established objectives.
• Partners with Business Banking Sales Leaders, SBA, Servicing and Product Management in identifying opportunities to deliver Key's value proposition to acquire new clients, while deepening and retaining existing client relationships
• Works closely with Business Banking executives to set revenue and profitability targets. Works to develop regional new business and referral opportunities
