Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an entry level Business Development Associate to join the Global Corporate Banking Payments Sales team, supporting major clients and developing merchant services opportunities.

You will partner with stakeholders across Global Corporate Banking to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities in one of the Technology sub-verticals such as SaaS, ecommerce, and marketplaces. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer-facing merchant services or payments experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work across functions and cultures.
• Familiar with B2B payments and card-not-present, e-commerce, omnichannel, and marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop account and call plans with bank coverage teams to position end-to-end solutions.
• Support prospecting, meeting prep, and follow-ups; craft proposals, pitch materials, and RFP responses tailored to each sub-vertical’s needs.
• Coordinate with product, pricing, legal, and risk partners on deal structuring and diligence; facilitate smooth handoffs to implementation teams.
• Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene and reporting in Salesforce; build dashboards and reports in Excel as needed.
• Track and communicate progress against goals; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Invest in ongoing professional development through internal and external learning resources.
• Travel: up to 25%.
