JPMorgan Chase is seeking an entry-level Business Development Associate to support the Global Corporate Banking Payments Sales team in building and advancing merchant services opportunities. The role is client-facing and involves coordinating with Global Corporate Banking and Payments teams to shape strategies and maintain a healthy pipeline for growth.

The position requires card acquiring experience, strong communication, and a collaborative, learning mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer facing merchant services, acquiring, or payments role.
• Ability to learn in fast-paced environments.
• Synthesis and clear presentation of information.
• Collaborative, cross-functional work across cultures.
• Familiarity with software, DTC tech, and B2B payment flows (card not present, ecommerce, subscriptions, marketplaces).
• Understanding of merchant acquiring pricing, risk, and disputes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional sales pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Partner with bank coverage teams to develop account and call plans.
• Support prospecting, meeting prep, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Coordinate with product, pricing, legal, and risk on deals.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene and create Salesforce/Excel dashboards.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Invest in ongoing professional development.
• Travel up to 25%.
