Job summary

HungryPanda Ltd 熊猫外卖 in New York seeks a Merchant Acquisition Specialist to recruit restaurants and stores, onboard partners, and drive sustained growth on the platform. You will conduct on-site visits, negotiate favorable terms, and help merchants optimize performance to increase order volume and GMV.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to design campaigns and improve merchant satisfaction, ensuring strong, long-term relationships and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Familiarity with the food delivery industry, local retail, or internet platform operations is a strong advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; confident communicating and building trust with business owners.
• Ability to work independently, manage field visits efficiently, and close deals under pressure.
• Highly organized with solid time management, project coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• A team player who can work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential merchants to join the platform and drive onboarding.
• Conduct frequent in-person visits to merchants in target areas to pitch cooperation and complete onboarding procedures.
• Maintain and strengthen long-term merchant relationships through regular business support and visits.
• Work closely with onboarded merchants to develop customized platform strategies and grow GMV.
• Propose and coordinate promotional campaigns with Marketing to increase merchant exposure and transactions.
• Continuously manage merchant backend data and settings to ensure smooth operations and accurate information.
• Monitor market trends and merchant feedback to support business decisions and product improvements.
