The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a Merchandise Manager at our Little Rock, AR store.

You will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to deliver a customer-ready environment. You will lead workload planning, staff alignment, and in-stock optimization, while supporting merchandise presentation and promotional execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and enforce SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and enforcing SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards, and hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution, ensuring unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, aligning staffing with business needs.
• Oversee in-stock optimization through SISO routines and accurate replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution to complete merchandising sets on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product presentation to company expectations.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment, including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and efficient stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time, maintaining pricing integrity.
• Oversee ship-from-store fulfillment and accurate order processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink.
