Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Training (MASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience across key departments and store operations. This structured program includes mentorship, leadership development, and exposure to Manager on Duty duties.

During a training period up to 6 weeks, MASMs in Training will learn to develop strategies, oversee merchandising areas, and collaborate with Store Managers and ASMs to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience.
• Preferred 3 years of work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer experience and lead store culture to deliver exceptional service.
• Perform opening/closing duties and follow store SOPs while upholding safety policies.
• Ensure safety procedures and hazmat guidelines are followed by self and associates.
• Support merchandising planning, signing, stock integrity, and use of store systems.
• Participate in a structured training program to prepare for an Assistant Manager role.
