Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager in Training (MASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience across store operations, merchandising, and leadership development. You will work closely with the Store Manager, ASMs, and field teams to implement strategies that improve customer service, product availability, and store presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: supervise associates, drive service, and resolve customer concerns.
• Operations Management: oversee opening/closing MOD and store SOPs, enforce policies.
• Safety: ensure safety and hazmat procedures are followed.
• Sales and Productivity: plan merchandising, signing, and inventory accuracy.
• Training: participate in a six-week MASM-IT program covering all aspects of store management.
