Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Lead to drive sales through compelling product presentations, signed accurately and spaced for easy shopping. You will lead the team in floor sets, signage, price changes, and maintain visual merchandising standards, working with omni, operations and selling teams to achieve store objectives.

The role is hourly with monthly bonus eligibility, requiring 1–3 years in visual merchandising or retail management and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and create attractive product presentations aligned with planograms and brand standards.
• Lead the team in receiving, processing inbound deliveries, and ensuring product readiness.
• Execute signage updates, price changes, and daily promotions with accuracy.
• Communicate daily goals and key tasks to the team; mentor and develop associates.
• Plan weekly leadership workloads with labor hours based on forecasts and directives.
• Adapt to changing conditions and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Support onboarding and ongoing learning for associates to raise performance.
• Foster a positive store culture and recognize associate achievements.
• Deliver strong customer service and assist with stock replenishment and store recovery.
• Lead omni and operations processes, asset protection, and safety protocols.
