Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Lead to drive sales by delivering attractive product presentations, clear signing, and well-spaced layouts. This hourly role leads the team in placement, floor sets, price changes, and maintaining visual merchandising standards, working with omni, operations, and selling teams to achieve store objectives.

You will guide the team in executing planograms, signs, and promotions, while supporting inbound deliveries, stock replenishment, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Visual Merchandising or Retail Management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to move around all store areas and assist customers.
• Must lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 500 lbs.
• Familiar with planograms and signage requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own objectives and drive store metrics.
• Lead team in product presentations per planograms and signage.
• Coordinate price changes and signage; assist inbound deliveries.
• Set daily goals; mentor and train associates.
• Plan weekly workload using manifests and planograms to size labor.
• Adapt quickly to forecasts and business needs.
• Support onboarding and ongoing learning.
• Foster engagement and store culture.
• Deliver strong customer service and stock replenishment.
• Run fulfillment and asset protection with safety compliance.
