Job summary

Sam's Club in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding member service, guide self-service tech, and assist members with purchasing decisions while promoting store products and services.

This role supports management in supervising associates, stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and upholding safety and company policies. It also involves coaching, scheduling and contributing to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience.
• Preferred supervisory experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring and workload management.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs, guiding purchases and answering questions.
• Assist management with supervising associates, assigning duties, training and coaching on service approaches.
• Stock, merchandize, setup displays and ensure safety and policy compliance throughout the store.
• Process claims and returns, monitor product quality and ensure proper pricing and labeling.
• Support recruiting, scheduling and evaluating associates as part of team operations.
