Job summary

Sam's Club in Riverside, CA is seeking a Retail Associate to provide excellent member service, assist with purchases, and maintain attractive store presentation. This role emphasizes customer interaction, merchandising, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will support supervision, ensure policy compliance, and help with training new associates while maintaining safety standards and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience.
• Preferred: leading a team and supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; guiding and supporting with self-service technology and purchasing decisions.
• Assists management with supervision of associates, assigns duties, trains staff, and supports hiring and evaluating staff.
• Receives and stocks supplies, merchandises floor, and ensures product presentation and pricing per policy.
• Maintains safety by conducting safety checks, forklift procedures, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Monitors product quality, rotates stock, and handles returns and recalls following procedures.
• Leads teams, coordinates work, and ensures timely delivery of tasks and customer satisfaction.
