Job summary

Sam's Club in Reno, NV is hiring a team member to provide expert member service, guide self-service technology, and assist with purchases while keeping the sales floor organized and stocked. You will help supervise associates, train staff, and ensure safety, merchandising, and loss prevention standards are followed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to company policies, and delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
Assist management with supervising associates, assigning duties, training, and coaching on member service approaches and techniques to ensure issues are resolved per policy.
Receive and stock supplies, merchandise, and organize the sales floor per policies and procedures.
Maintain facility safety through safety sweeps, forklift protocols, and hazard disposal, reporting unsafe situations.
Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and display setup, handling returns and damaged goods, and reducing shrink.
