Job summary

Sam's Club in LUFKIN, TX is seeking a team member for a member service-focused role. You will acknowledge members, identify their needs, provide guidance on self-service technology, assist with purchasing decisions, resolve issues, and promote the company’s products and services.

You will also help supervise associates, assign duties, train staff, and maintain the sales floor, including signage, pricing, and merchandising, while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and self-service technology.
• Resolve member issues and concerns according to company guidelines.
• Supervise associates in assigned area; assign duties and train staff.
• Maintain safety and merchandising standards; stock, price, and organize merchandise.
• Support Open Door Policy and participate in recruiting, scheduling, coaching, and evaluation.
