Job summary

Mondelēz in Cambridge, MN is seeking a merchandiser to fulfill merchandising needs, stock shelves and set displays, and represent Nabisco brands in stores.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
• Ability to occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet defined physical activities
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
• Live within 25-35 miles of the primary location Cambridge, MN
• Schedule availability: open availability, including at least one weekend day
• Start time availability between 06:00 AM and 08:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' merchandising needs through communication and relationship building
• Stock store shelves and maintain or change displays
• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees
• Work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’s DSD Merchandising Steps
• Capture pictures of displays at assigned stores
• Order product via iPad tablet for shelves and displays to ensure in-stock conditions
• Ensure Nabisco brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained according to Mondelēz guidelines
• Ensure sales representatives’ negotiated plans with store managers are followed
• Communicate issues with Mondelēz management
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches
• Represent Mondelēz in stores with a positive and upbeat attitude
