Job summary

Mondelēz in Lombard, IL is hiring a merchandising associate to fulfill store merchandising needs and maintain product displays. You will liaise with store staff and sales reps to ensure Nabisco brands are visible, stocked, and promoted according to company guidelines.

You will visit stores, capture display photos, and place orders via iPad to keep shelves replenished. A proactive, upbeat attitude and a willingness to travel between stores are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid REAL ID Driver's License or U.S. passport or federal ID.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance to store locations.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and push/pull over 50 lbs occasionally.
• Movement of products from stock rooms to store floors and shelves.
• Retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25-35 miles of Lombard, IL.
• Schedule availability Tuesday-Saturday.

• Ensure Nabisco brands are represented and maintained per guidelines.
• Follow negotiated plans with store managers.
• Communicate issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager.
• Enhance seasonal sales displays and new product launches.
• Represent Mondelēz in stores with a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid REAL ID driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides, U.S. passport, or federal ID
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
• Ability to occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs
• Ability to physically move products from stock rooms to store floors and stock store shelves
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus
• Live within 25-35 miles of the primary location: Lombard, IL
• Schedule availability required: Tuesday-Saturday
