Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Merchandiser to maximize product inventory, stock displays, and support online fulfillment while delivering excellent customer service. You will work with store management to ensure smooth operations, participate in wine, spirits, and beer training, and help with in-store and curbside orders.

You will also maintain knowledge of promotions, loyalty programs, and safety standards, with flexibility to work evenings/weekends and follow all alcohol sale regulations in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws - if delivery is added as an essential job function.
