Job summary

Five Below in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking an energetic retail leader to oversee daily operations, cash handling, customer service, and merchandising on the sales floor.

You will manage opening and closing, supervise associates, support onboarding and training, drive sales, and ensure adherence to corporate guidelines, delivering a WOW customer experience.

This hourly role requires physical activity, lifting up to 25 lbs, and the ability to travel to support store priorities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted per corporate guidelines.
• Opens or closes the store, securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Oversees daily activities of all store associates, ensuring performance and customer service quality.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan with product placement and signage per corporate guidelines, maintaining Inventory Integrity.
