URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Buying Operations Coordinator to support daily operations in the buying area, ensuring timely merchandise delivery through vendor, DC, and buying team communication.

You will build cross-functional relationships with distribution center, vendors, production, buying, planning, and allocation teams to drive smooth workflow and accurate PO management.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in PO entry, SKU maintenance, and invoice corrections.
• Strong time management across deliveries and seasonal timelines.
• Clear and consistent communication with vendors, DC, and internal teams.
• Problem solving for delays, discrepancies, and backorders.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Planning, Allocation, and AP.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and revise purchase orders.
• Track receipts to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
• Maintain accurate SKU information.
• Manage backorders and pre-orders for customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with DC to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage RTVs, retickets, and price changes with Planning and Allocation.
• Oversee receipt management alongside open-to-buy availability.
• Manage DTC flags and shipping restrictions.
• Oversee GTIN management.
• Coordinate time-sensitive deliveries for events and seasonal setups.
• Assist Accounts Payable with invoice corrections.
• Collaborate with Buying, Planning, and Allocation teams.
