URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Operations Coordinator to support daily operational functions within the buying area.

You will ensure timely merchandise delivery by communicating with vendors, the distribution center, and the buying team, while building cross-functional relationships with DC, vendors, production, planning, and allocation teams. Responsibilities include PO entry, tracking receipts, SKU maintenance, backorder management, RTVs, price changes, and coordinating

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in PO entry, SKU maintenance, and invoice corrections.
• Strong time management for deliveries, seasonal timelines, and priorities.
• Clear, consistent communication with vendors, DC, and internal teams.
• Proactive problem solving for delays, discrepancies, and backorder challenges.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Planning, Allocation, and AP.

Responsibilities

• Enter and revise purchase orders as needed.
• Track receipts to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
• Maintain accurate SKU information.
• Manage backorders and pre-orders to satisfy customers.
• Communicate with the distribution center and follow up to ensure smooth ops.
• Coordinate RTVs, retickets, and price changes with Planning/Allocation teams.
• Manage receipts with open-to-buy availability and prevent overbuying.
• Handle DTC flags and shipping restrictions.
