Job summary

URBN is seeking a Buying Operations Coordinator to support daily operations within the buying team, ensuring timely merchandise delivery through clear communication with vendors, the distribution center, and internal partners.

You will maintain accurate SKU data, manage POs and backorders, and coordinate cross-functionally with Planning, Allocation, and Accounts Payable to keep receipts and invoices aligned with open-to-buy targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail in PO entry, SKU data, and invoices.
• Excellent communication with vendors, DC, and internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• PO Entry and Revisions: Enter and revise purchase orders as needed.
• Timely Delivery: Track and monitor receipts to ensure on-time delivery.
• SKU Maintenance: Maintain accurate SKU information.
• Backorder and Pre-Order Management: Manage backorders and pre-orders.
• DC Communication: Communicate and follow up with distribution center.
• RTVs and Price Changes: Manage RTVs and price changes with planning teams.
• Receipt Management: Manage receipts and OTB alignment with planning.
• DTC Flags: Manage direct-to-consumer flags and shipping restrictions.
• GTIN Management: Oversee GTIN management.
• Event and Seasonal Deliveries: Coordinate time-sensitive deliveries.
• Invoice Corrections: Support invoice corrections with Accounts Payable.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Buying, Planning, and Allocation teams.
