Job summary

Square Enix, Inc. is seeking a Coordinator, Merchandise (Direct Sales) to support planning and execution of events, pop-ups, and owned-store launches.

You will work with the Senior Manager to coordinate research, budgeting, vendor communication, logistics, and on-site success to maximize sales and fan engagement. The role emphasizes organization, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem solving, with frequent travel and flexible hours for weekend events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in toy and video game industries.
• Hands-on experience supporting consumer-facing events and pop-up shops.
• Extensive knowledge of Square Enix IPs.
• Proficient with Excel and business software; familiarity with Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to work flexible hours for weekend events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research on competitor direct sales activities, industry trends, customer behavior, and event opportunities.
• Assist planning and execution of events, pop-up stores, and other direct sales initiatives.
• Support on-site events and store operations, including merchandising and staff coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely deliverables.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and operational plans.
• Support budgets, sales forecasts, and P&L analyses.
• Coordinate product shipments, inventory allocation, and logistics for events.
