Job summary

Westat is recruiting Field Interviewers to conduct MEPS interviews across eligible households in the United States. You will travel to households, set appointments, complete interviews, and securely submit data using Westat equipment.

Training is mandatory, including virtual sessions and in-person sessions in January 2027. The role is part-time with two data collection periods each year and may require evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with in-person interviews and/or computer-assisted interviewing.
• Public contact and/or cold calling experience.
• Ability to work in unfamiliar locations and interact with diverse respondents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with selected households.
• Travel locally and occasionally long-distance as required; attend training.
• Submit data and complete administrative paperwork daily.
• Participate in mandatory web-based and in-person trainings; follow data security rules.
