Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking field interviewers to support the MEPS study, conducting in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households across a nationally representative sample.

You will set appointments, collect interviews, and handle electronic and hard-copy documents, using a Westat-provided laptop. This part-time, yearly program requires travel to trainings in January 2027, flexibility for evenings and weekends, a valid driver's license, a personal vehicle, and reliable data

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to enter binding confidentiality agreements to protect project information.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study training and Teams sessions between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Must travel to in-person training (Jan 19–25, 2027) and post-training activities.
• Be available for additional mandatory training and post-training home study between Jan 26–31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect and submit electronic and hard-copy documents.
• Travel to local and long-distance households; some assignments may require overnight travel.
• Transmit data daily and comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
