Job summary

Westat is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, arrange visits, and collect signed documents using a Westat laptop.

This part-time role runs yearly with two data collection periods, including mandatory trainings in January 2027 and travel as required. Flexibility to work mostly evenings and weekends; supports data transmission daily and compliance with data security.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Available to complete mandatory web-based training between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Available to travel to in-person training Jan 19–25, 2027 and post-training activities.
• Available for web-based and virtual training following in-person training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult household members.
• Contact households to introduce the study, set appointments, and collect data and documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily on work days.
• Adhere to data security and confidentiality requirements.
