Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Part-Time Field Interviewers to support the MEPS project. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, travel for training in January 2027, and work 20 hours per week during two data collection periods each year.

Responsibilities include contacting households, scheduling interviews, transmitting data daily, and complying with security and confidentiality requirements. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to enter confidentiality agreements.
• Available to complete mandatory web-based home study training and Teams sessions between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Able to attend mandatory in-person training in January 2027 (travel to training dates listed).
• Willing to complete post-training web-based and virtual training activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adult households.
• Contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect signed documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily when working and comply with data security requirements.
• Report to a field supervisor and complete administrative paperwork.
