Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager, MEP to join the Field Operations Team. The position is field/project based and requires travel to project sites across the United States.

The candidate will support the MEP Project Manager with subcontractor coordination, scopes of work, and scheduling within the broader construction plan. Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent + 10 years of construction experience OR 15 years with increasing responsibility (no degree required).
• Experience in light/heavy industrial sectors.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and contracts.
• Strong people management skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
• Proficiency with MS Project and scheduling software is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and collaborative mindset.
• Visa Sponsorship: not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project Manager.
• Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the overall construction schedule.
• Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work and assist in project estimating.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
• Schedule work, including subcontractors, and track progress and costs.
• Ensure safety and quality standards per company and industry guidelines.
• Procure tools and materials to meet project schedules and requirements.
