Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning and execution of commercial construction projects, including Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems, and related subs. PMs review plans and specifications to address design and constructability issues.

The successful candidate will lead teams, ensure projects meet financial goals, and uphold Atlantic Constructors' quality program while navigating the challenges of large construction sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 7–10 years project management experience in mechanical/electrical contracting desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively.
• Proactive self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with project teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain construction plans and schedules.
• Scope vendor quotes and purchase equipment/material; issue subcontracts.
• Monitor manpower, materials, deliveries, and budget performance.
• Prepare revenue forecasts, cash flow analysis, and value schedules.
• Identify scope changes and price changes; draft change orders.
• Develop recovery plans for at-risk projects as needed.
• Supervise project team and ensure high-quality execution.
