Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support multiple commercial construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers and PMA staff to ensure teams have accurate information and resources for success.

You will track productivity, manage schedules, prepare submittals, and coordinate with architects, engineers, subs, and vendors to meet budget, quality, and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years in commercial construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead project tracking reports to monitor productivity and labor utilization.
• Create and maintain internal project schedules.
• Prepare submittals based on drawings, specs, and vendor info.
• Coordinate with architect/engineer and project team on submittals.
• Assist PMs and other engineers with change requests backups.
• Ensure close-out documents are completed per contract.
• Distribute contract docs to subs and vendors; manage drawings and specs.
