Job summary

Atlantic Constructors in Sterling, VA seeks an experienced Project Manager (MEP) to oversee planning and delivery of commercial construction projects across Mechanical, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Protection trades. The PM reviews plans, manages budgets, and coordinates with design teams and subcontractors to meet schedule and quality goals.

The successful candidate will lead project teams, develop schedules, monitor performance metrics, and ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 7-10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains positive relationships with internal project teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develops construction plans and schedules; scopes out vendor quotes and subcontractors; issues subcontracts.
• Monitors manpower and material deliveries; mentors site leadership to meet timing and budget goals.
• Prepares and maintains project budgets; reports to senior management on key metrics.
• Creates revenue forecasts, cash flow analyses, and other financial analyses.
• Identifies scope changes, prepares pricing, and submits change orders; develops recovery plans.
• Acts as liaison with client, architect/engineer to facilitate construction activities.
