MEP Project Lead for Data Center & Infra

Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an MEP Project Manager to work with our team and partner with a global manufacturing client. The ideal candidate has an engineering background with strong MEP knowledge and Owner’s Representation experience.

You will contribute to delivering construction and capital projects across sectors including data centers, critical infrastructure, aviation, life sciences, and energy & natural resources.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Able to manage and delegate tasks to technical and non-technical staff.
• Post graduate Mechanical or MEP engineering experience.
• Bachelor or Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Project Management (or PMP), Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering drawings, specifications, and documents.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders at all project stages.
• Support scheduler with progress updates.
• Coordinate field activities between GCs, commissioning agents, and client.
• Conduct field walks with contractors and trades.
• Attend field and punch walks with architects and MEP team.
• Support project close-out documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and report gaps.
• Review design drawings for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Prepare reports on progress, KPIs, and milestones.
• Facilitate information flow between team and client.
• Capture knowledge to internal databases and share learnings.
• Identify and address safety, health, environmental issues.
• SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
