MEP Project Manager for Data Center Construction

Job summary

Turner & Townsend is looking for a MEP Project Manager to work with our team, and partner with a global manufacturing client.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with strong Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP knowledge and experience. You will be consultant minded and have experience with Owner’s Representation, delivering construction and capital projects across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with strong mechanical knowledge/experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate across project teams.
• Experience with Owner’s Representation and construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage applicable engineering drawings, specifications and documents.
• Communicate with internal and external team members and stakeholders at all project stages.
• Support scheduler with updates on progress.
• Coordinate field activities among General Contractor, Commissioning Agent and Client.
• Conduct field walks with contractors and trades.
• Attend field and punch walks with architects and MEP engineers.
• Assist with project close-out documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and report issues/gaps.
• Review design drawings for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Prepare reports on project progress, KPIs and milestones.
• Facilitate information flow between team and client through meetings and written updates.
