Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection coordination from procurement through commissioning. You will oversee sub-contractor selection, submittals, requisitions, and change orders while maintaining schedule and safety standards.

You will partner with the project team, A/E, and Owners to resolve complex coordination items, host weekly meetings, and ensure closeout documentation and as-builts are completed

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (engineering) in Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or Fire Protection.
• 10+ years of experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Strong computer skills: MS Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical bid tabs and Exhibit B in contract.
• Interview and select sub-contractors for each project.
• Manage day-to-day MEP sub-contractor activities.
• Review and approve MEP monthly requisitions.
• Review and approve MEP change orders.
• Conduct site walks to ensure schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with BIM/VDC personnel and Superintendent for schedule alignment.
• Collaborate with A/E team to resolve coordination items.
• Review all MEP submittals and documentation from inspections/testing.
