Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking an MEP Project Manager in New Haven, CT. This part-time role focuses on managing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection resources, submittals, requisitions, and change orders across the project lifecycle.

You will lead MEP subcontractors, coordinate with BIM/VDC and field teams, and ensure documentation aligns with schedule and quality standards. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical or Fire Protection.
• 5+ years experience with MEP systems.
• 2+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP bid tabs and exhibit B in contract.
• Interview and select MEP subcontractors.
• Manage day-to-day MEP subcontractor activities.
• Review and approve MEP monthly requisitions.
• Coordinate and ensure MEP coordination with BIM/VDC and A/E teams.
