Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Project Manager - MEP to lead planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes for large-scale data centers and mission-critical facilities.

You will collaborate with owners, consultants, engineers, trade partners, vendors, and construction teams to ensure design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and turnover meet safety, quality, schedule, and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical discipline and 5+ years of engineering, MEP project management, or construction experience.
• Experience managing MEP scopes on data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building systems).
• Familiarity with CAD/BIM platforms and coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP engineering coordination across planning, design, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Manage technical deliverables, design reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Review drawings, submittals, calculations, and documentation for compliance.
• Support constructability reviews and value engineering in preconstruction and execution.
• Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, contractors, and commissioning teams.
