Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead field execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls on large data center and infrastructure projects.

You will manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, commissioning, and project teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Successful candidates will have 7+ years of MEP construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related engineering field.
• 7+ years of MEP construction experience on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems.
• Experience coordinating multiple MEP trades in active construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specs, schedules, and commissioning requirements.
• Experience with startup, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution and coordination of MEP construction activities.
• Oversee MEP subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure safe, productive execution.
• Review drawings, specs, schedules, and work plans to support constructability and readiness.
• Coordinate installation across trades to minimize conflicts and maintain schedules.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover for operational readiness.
• Identify and resolve field issues and design conflicts impacting project performance.
