Job summary
Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead field execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls on hyperscale data center projects.
You will manage MEP subs, coordinate with engineering, commissioning, and operations, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Travel up to 75% and on-site leadership are essential as you drive project delivery while coordinating between multiple teams and stakeholders to
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical/Architectural Engineering, or related field plus 7+ years of MEP construction experience.
- Experience managing MEP installation activities on large data center or mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead field execution and coordination of MEP construction activities across trades.
- Oversee MEP subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and field personnel.
- Review drawings, specs, schedules, and work plans for field readiness and constructability.
- Coordinate installation activities across multiple trades to minimize conflicts.
- Support startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities for operational readiness.
- Identify and resolve field issues and design conflicts impacting project performance.
