Atlantic Constructors in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our growing commercial construction team. You will work closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure the successful execution of MEP construction activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience supervising General Foremen/Assistants on large crews.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 and CPR certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Supervises field foreman for MEP activities and coordinates with Superintendents.
• Oversees project scheduling, safety compliance, and quality assurance.
• Reviews two-week look-aheads and holds weekly foreman meetings.
• Ensures material availability and coordination with engineering and estimating teams.
• Manages budgeting, cost control, and progress tracking on the project.
• Liaises with clients, vendors, and internal teams to maintain schedule and safety standards.
