Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our growing commercial construction team in Virginia.

The role supports the Project Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure successful execution of MEP construction activities on large-scale ground-up projects. You will manage daily site operations, enforce safety standards, review schedules, coordinate with trades, and help drive on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience supervising large crews on commercial construction projects.
• Strong ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate with project teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field foremen for MEP trades and coordinate with Superintendent and Sr. Superintendent.
• Oversee project-specific trades and ensure schedules, drawings, and specs are followed.
• Monitor safety, quality assurance, and on-track progress; maintain two-week look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Engineering for materials, inspections, and crafts.
• Engage with clients and vendors to maintain a positive work environment.
