New Atlantic Contracting, Inc. in Charlotte is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent with an MEP background to lead field operations on commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on on-site leader who can independently run a project site, drive the schedule, and uphold New Atlantic’s safety and quality standards. The role requires leading all MEP scopes, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and local codes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to lead projects with no other on-site supervision.
• Strong ability to review, comment, and edit project schedules.
• Must understand all shop drawings and submittals for all project disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP scopes on the project.
• Supervise and coordinate MEP subcontractors and ensure systems integration.
• Review plans and specifications for constructability and schedules and advise the project team of issues.
• Fully understand contracts, subcontracts, drawings, specifications, shop drawings, schedules, and local codes.
• Ensure work is installed following approved contract documents and OSHA guidelines for MEP activities.
• Create a punch list for subcontractors.
