Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent for our growing commercial construction team. You will work closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure on‑time delivery, safety compliance, and quality control on high‑profile ground‑up and large-scale builds.

This role requires 7+ years of supervisory experience, with the ability to lead sizable crews, review job costs, and coordinate across design, estimating and field teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as General Foreman/General Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent
• Ability to supervise large crews (10+)
• Experience with man-hour reports, job cost reports, workforce planning
• Knowledge of construction cost control, forecasting and goal setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication, cross‑disciplinary coordination
• OSHA 30 and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Supervises field foremen for MEP and related trades
• Oversee trades on large projects with Superintendents
• Manage daily site operations and enforce safety standards
• Maintain project schedules and quality control
• Coordinate with engineering, estimating and project teams
• Ensure material availability and proper staging
• Review two-week look-aheads and conduct weekly foreman meetings
• Travel to multiple job sites as assigned
